Many of our guest, on their first visit are disappointed as to their limited stay and wish to have know how beautiful it is by us, so as to have prolonged their stay. Swellendam is the perfect place to be when wanting to make several day trips. We have many attractions in Swellendam itself, such as our Drosty Museum, or our famous White Church, but there are also many other things, fine dinning at most of the restaurants in Swellendam such as La Sosta or Koornlands, or even Beer tasting at our Local trading post. On the outskirts of Swellendam you are also able to visit our Bontebok Park or even enjoy a beautiful l hike into your Marloth Nature reserve. But if you have seen Swellendam and wish to travel around, there are many places to see, not more than a hours drive away. De Hoop Nature reserve which lies on the coast, well known for its white dunes. A quick drive to Barrydale to have Milkshakes at the famous Diesel and Creme. The list is endless and we at Rothman Manor strive only towards making our guest itinerary as wonderful as possible with all these suggestions.
