Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy an Italian breakfast in the bar next door to the property. The location is close to the airport and a wonderful beach town with great scenery round about. The owner picked us up at the train station and also took us to the airport for our fight home.

Breakfast at the Family Affair features sweet and savoury food, with local specialities such as Sicilian cheese, honey and fresh fruit. Everything, except it could have been closer to the old city for sightseeing. Nevertheless convenient to upscale shops and many good restaurants. Parking very close to the hotel, is a bonus.

Kala Rooms, a guest house, is a property located in Palermo. This guest house has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The property is 1.3 km from Palermo Cathedral and 1.7 km from Palazzo dei Normanni. Perfect location. Very nice people. Cute balcony, surprisingly good sound isolation! We were right above a restaurant and it did not disturb us at all. Generous 1,5L of water in a fridge was a pleasant surprise, no need to run to buy it. Teapot, there was quite a selection of tea bags and instant coffee. Breakfast in a bar across the street was very good, you can choose 3 things (we had a cappuccino and 2 pastries of our choice each).

The location is very central yet reachable by car, the hosts have been very helpful in providing us with guidance on where to go and what to eat in Agrigento. The rooms are clean and spacious and the terrace is breathtaking where you can savour a delicious breakfast with local delicacies. Not to be missed!

Lifted to the floor made the access easy and comfortable. Pietro who manages the property is a jewel of a man. He will walk to the moon to satisfy any needs of his guests.
