We are a couple and went to Alappuzha/Alleppey and asked our host for a boattrip. Fortunately we found Jose Kalappura, he organized a convenient tailormade experience on two private traditional boats with modern facilities. We were lucky, because beforhand we didn't know the difference between cheaper tours on big boats vs. smaller boats with individual trip and different private experience. We startet with a tour on a small boat and went through smaller channels having local Breakfast, bigger boats can't pass there. Ad 12:00 we skipped on a different boat with private panoramic area on the first floor. We where alone, a really romantic trip. Having typical local fresh Lunch cooked on board by a chef, we stopped on the course for sightseeing. After a slow trip on a quite channel we could see a beautyful sunset and we had Dinner. We had a good Night in a full equipped clean room as we would expect in a city hotel. Our Captain found a good spot away from the busy areas where we enjoyed a beautyful sunrise. After a local Breakfast we left the boat with a big smile because of this outstanding experience. Thanks again to Jose and the Crew.

Aside from a very accommodating, staff facilities are well maintained and clean❤️room was nice, meets more than my expectation. They have a nice upper deck with nice comfortable chairs and cushions.. Overall it was a great experience i really enjoyed the trip

Xandari Riverscapes er samansafn húsbáta sem sigla á Vembanad-vatni og í útkjálkum Alleppey. Húsbátarnir leggjast við bryggju nálægt Pallathuruthy-brúnni. An exceptional experience! This was an trip to remember for many years. A wonderful landscape and environment in the Kerala Backwaters and the trip on the boat captured all of the beauty and majesty of the area - both the wildlife and the villages, churches and of course the people. The boat was beautifully furnished, with very comfortable bedrooms and an area at the front of the boat to relax and lounge and watch the scenery go by. The food was outstanding prepared by a sympathetic and knowledgeable chef, who was always at hand to discuss the menu for the next meal and to tell us about the cuisine. The crew were unfailingly helpful and courteous. All of this contributed to one of the best holiday trips that we have ever had.

IndraprasthamLakeCruise er staðsett í Alleppey, 6,6 km frá Alappuzha-lestarstöðinni og 18 km frá Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna-hofinu. Boðið er upp á verönd og loftkælingu. It was as per our expectation - worth the money and clean. The helpers were all sweet and flexible. The rooms were good and cozy. A good option for a group of 5-6 people. Very comfortable for my family.

Grand Villa Houseboat er gististaður í Kumarakom, 44 km frá Kochi Biennale og 44 km frá Cochin-skipasmíðastöðinni. Þaðan er útsýni yfir vatnið. I spent a very relaxing two nights on the houseboat, spending the first day travelling south and spending the night next to the rice paddy islands, then the second day returning along the other coastline. The food was consistently fantastic, with absolutely massive portions 😅

One of the coolest travel things we have done,we absolutely loved Tharas Houseboat the food was so good and the crew members were kindly behaviour, we are so lucky and glad that we found this place,the room was suberb especially aircondition was superb working. We have taken two nights with Tharas Houseboat it was our really good , we highly reccomend this place , everybody should try .Thank you

Aqua Castle Houseboat (by Aqua Jumbo Houseboats) er á bakgrunni Alleppey og Vembanad og býður upp á sólarhringsmóttöku þar sem gestir geta fengið aðstoð hvenær sem er. the staff, food and facilities were all great.

Alice Houseboats Alleppey er með útsýni yfir vatnið og er gistirými í Alleppey, 1,5 km frá Mullakkal Rajarajeswari-hofinu og 4 km frá Alleppey-vitanum. Food was Awesome and Yummy , Breakfast was Marvelous . If you are in Houseboat please do try Puttu and Kadala Curry its Awesome.
